Dear All,
It has been a tough academic year for all of us. Students and teachers had to adjust to demands of the new normal. Parents had to balance their work and family lives – even as they helped our students cope up. If not for God’s mercy and grace, we would not have been able to come this far.
As we wrap up this academic session, I formally announce that I am stepping down as the Principal of St.Gregorios School this month. I would also like to take this opportunity to think back, and express gratitude to every person who has contributed to this phase.
I thank God for the privilege of serving this Institution for 18+ years, and for His grace. Building the School towards the vision of our founder was a challenge, but today as I leave I can say that our School has become a “Light to Lighten” – in and through the lives of many students who have studied here. This task is impossible without God. It is my sincere prayer that the future endeavours of the School will be based firmly on trust in the Living God.
I consider it a privilege also to have been part of the lives of many students, and their families. Interacting with them and trying to understand their points of view was a humbling learning experience. Schooling – whether teaching or learning, is more than academics and it is more than an exercise of the brain alone. It must form and build the whole individual. May the School continue to be a torch bearer of holistic education to live up to ideals of St.Gregorios and Dr.Paulose Mar Gregorios.
My role as the Principal is incomplete without the teaching and the non-teaching staff – both in Janakpuri and Dwarka. Many have joined and left, some have remained and retired, others continue in their journey. Working with each staff has been a joy, it also had its challenges. But this is the principle that has stood out: it takes the commitment and sincere effort of many individuals, with varied skills and talents, to be able to function as an institution with a vision. May the Vice Principal, Primary &Pre Primary Coordinators and teachers – present and future, be able to continue in their teamwork for the greater good.
The Chairmen and the Managing Committee members have been a constant support to the school through all the years. I would like to thank each one of them for their guidance and kind help in executing my responsibilities. I pray that God would continue to use them for fulfilling the purpose, Vision and the Mission of this institution.
Last, but not the least I would like to thank my family and friends for constantly standing with me,  praying for me, supporting me and also encouraging me. May God bless them.
In conclusion, I would like to reiterate that it takes the commitment and sincere effort of many people to function as a School. Therefore, I would like to earnestly request each one – students, parents, staff, and the board – that you continue in this good endeavour of building lives through education and building society through the lives of the students. Each one’s contribution is crucial and necessary for success.
Also, as Dr.Manoj Kumar steps up as the next Principal of St.Gregorios School, I request  you  all to extend to him the same cooperation and support  you did to me.
I hope and believe that St.Gregorios School will live to its purpose continuously. May the Gregorions carry the Gregorion flame across the Globe to enlighten the society. I will continue to uphold the school in my prayers.
Let me conclude with a verse from the Bible from
2 Timothy :4:7,
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Faith
GOOD BYE  and May the living God bless you all.
