But the real meaning of education is to initiate the young minds to transform themselves towards the betterment of the society, country and the world at large. SGS fraternity , believes that every child is a gift of God and that education should be such that it develops the head, hand and the heart.Keeping the wholesome development of the child in mind, we provide ample opportunities aiming  value based education towards a growth in every sphere of life including academics and in their personality development. In the field of co-curricular activities and in games and sports, our students are paving their way towards great heights.

A good career is important but a good character is paramount. We believe that students are the atoms that have tremendous power within to serve as agents of change and thus are confident that the Gregorians enriched with a sense of high morality and social responsibility will be the markers of a virtuous society. As the Vice Principal of this prestigious institution, I am delighted that the schools motto “light to lighten” aligns with my personal values and foresight, where we endeavour to ignite young minds and equip them with wings to explore unseen destinations.

Our former Hon’ble President, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam has said in the introduction of his book “The wings of Fire” that “We are born with a divine fire in us". Our efforts should be to give wings to this fire and fill the world with glow of its goodness”.We are sure that the seeds of wisdom sown today in the form of students in our school garden shall reap a rich harvest in the form of responsible citizens of tomorrow.
